We met so many fun, awesome, crazy people! We were jetlagged and exhausted...some of us got sick (me and my DP), some of us got injured (my DP) but it was all in the name of movie making magic! Here's some pics of Edinburgh!!! Can't wait to start diving into the footage and edit together the doc! Though, that may take a few months with all the footage we got! Can't wait to go back to Scotland! Maybe next year for the entire Fringe Fest???! I'm going to start plotting now!

That's right people, I like a challenge! I'm taking my solo comedy show "NERDGASM" back to the UK! I had a blast at the SOHO Theatre in London and now I'm excited to tackle one of my other dreams! To perform at the Fringe Festival in Scottland! And to spice it up a bit, I've raised the stakes! Most other shows are running during the whole festival...I however will be doing one night only! And on top of that, I will be filming a documentary about my journey to the fringe and about one man shows and why we do them...going to sit down and chat with other solo performers and get to the root of why we want people to come listen to our stories! So yes, only one night to film it...High Stakes!

I can't wait for the adventure of recrafting the show to work at the Fringe! And all of the adventures that will come with being in a crazy, hectic, artistic and amazing time in Scottland! The coolest part of all of this is that from my Producer, to the tech crew, to the musicians...everything of this show is happening because of Twitter! Can you belive it! It's opened a whole international world of exciting performances and travel and new friends and fun times! Hmm...I think I sound like a commercial right now ...lol. I can't wait to get there! Lots of hard work ahead!

]]>YOU OFFEND ME!http://tomlenk.com/blog/2011/2/2/you-offend-me.htmlTom Lenk2011-02-03T02:29:17ZA few months back I gathered my troops and put together a little Mel Gibson Rant Remix (that's right did it myself on Garageband) and entered the annual Echo Theater Lip Synch Competition which is a big fundraiser for a cool Theater Company here in LA that my friends are part of.

We won last year with our Christian Bale Remix dance. We had a blast and coreographed and learned the whole thing in one day! Special thanks to Susannah Hall, Kristin Campbell-Taylor for help with the moves and the whole gang! It was an awesome group effort.

Can you believe we got 2nd place? I mean Project Runway's Sarah Trost made us kilts and sashes out of flannel shirts on the spot! It was badass!!! Anyway 2nd place is good too :) BTW this is not safe for work! Lots of offensive language and obnoxious head voice recordings on my part!
